Smart pi EYE v1.24.9 – Release Notes

Recommendation: All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this version.

New Features

• New display type, Dual Next Services
  Added a new display type for Dual Next Services and Departure Board, allows for Multi Modal up to 4 x different services displayed on a single screen (2 x next services and 2 x departure boards.
  

Improvements

• Departure Board enhancements, added more flexible elements for information display in departure boards (load data, realtime information etc)
• Scheduler refactoring
  updates to scheduler management for jobs, realtime, timetable and database management..
• Realtime information management
  Additional performance and reliability improvements to realtime feed processing, caching, and expiration logic.
• All display types now published to rest api for JSON content
• Enhancements to Monitoring API
• Realtime Text available in API
• API security keys implimented 

Bug Fixes & Minor Enhancements

• Numerous stability improvements and minor bug fixes across the system
• Various user interface polish and small UX improvement
• Other minor enhancements to improve overall system reliability and user experience
