Smart pi HLP v2.1.2 – Release Notes

New Features

• Introduced a modern Yocto Linux-based operating system — delivering improved performance, security, and long-term maintainability
• Added support for Extensions 3 and 4
• Implemented UDP control protocol support
• Integrated WebRTC AEC3 — full-bandwidth acoustic echo cancellation for significantly improved call quality in challenging acoustic environments
• ZeroTier VPN client

Improvements

• Completely redesigned and simplified web user interface for a more intuitive and responsive experience
• Major code refactoring and architectural cleanup for better maintainability
• Significantly reduced memory footprint across the system
• Optimised performance with lower CPU utilisation in typical workloads
• Added flexible button priority configuration options

Bug Fixes & Minor Enhancements
