Recommendation: All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to this version.
New Features
- GTFS Realtime Alerts support
Added initial support for GTFS-R Alerts with a completely new messaging system. Alerts now support dynamic variables and offer extensive configuration options (severity, affected routes/stops, custom text, URLs, and more).
- Automatic database lifecycle management
The application now automatically creates missing databases on first start and performs inline upgrades for all databases (except template databases) without requiring manual intervention.
Improvements
- Template handling
Default templates are no longer installed automatically in production environments. They are now optional and can be installed manually only when needed.
- Ingester refactoring
Major internal refactoring of all ingester modules resulting in significantly lower CPU and memory usage, faster processing, and more reliable updates even under high load.
- Realtime information management
Additional performance and reliability improvements to realtime feed processing, caching, and expiration logic.
Bug Fixes & Minor Enhancements
- Numerous stability improvements and minor bug fixes across the system
- Various user interface polish and small UX improvements
- Fixed several edge-case issues with database migrations and configuration loading
- Other minor enhancements to improve overall system reliability and user experience
