This release adds multitrack trunks and improved audio recovery, along with monitoring, security and reliability improvements. It includes all changes since Version 1.2.1.
New Features
- Multitrack trunks: Opus multitrack trunks carry many audio channels over a single SIP connection, with channel routing and overlap checks.
- Audio recovery: Forward error correction and parity recovery for more robust audio on lossy networks.
- Receive profiles: Adjustable receive profiles to balance latency and stability.
- Live monitoring: Listen to live calls from the web interface, with new multichannel audio meters.
- Call health: Five-minute call-health history is kept on the server during active calls.
- Installation: New Windows and Linux installation tools and first-run administrator setup.
Improvements
- Security: Security improvements, including updated components and stronger protection for administrator access.
- User interface: Updated Smart pi web interface with a refreshed dashboard.
- SIP handling: Improved handling of call audio direction and hold.
- Performance: Faster dashboard updates and lighter, more efficient log cleanup.
- Integration: Improved AES70 support.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed monitoring of physical inputs and mono/stereo sources.
- Fixed audio meter labels and channel display.
- Extensions in an active call can no longer be deleted by mistake.
- Fixed audio playback on iOS devices.
Before upgrading: Back up the database and server configuration. Keep your existing settings files when installing the update.
